Betterfly compliments Ladybug and Cat Noir's world, saying how they're partner and help each other as it is normal and how in his, helping other people is considered a crime. As the good counterpart of his partner, Ladybug was an enemy of his as well, especially after she stopped him and Shadybug from taking Betterfly's Miraculous and Claw Noir mocked her statements that the Miraculouses are only meant to be used by good and also destroyed her Lucky Charm object.

They pause upon hearing and seeing giant versions of Shadybug and Claw Noir calling out for them. Believing this was the work of Monarch akumatizing them, Betterfly snaps his fingers to undo it but realizes they are not akumatized. She jumps down and plays the video she recorded on Sabine's phone about what Monarch plans to do.
