Celesticat continues carrying Betterfly and Ladybug and flies, dropping them off in the sewers. Betterfly dekamikotizes Celesticat as his kamiko is revoked and he turns back into Cat Noir. According to her, the effects were gradual, though Marinette attempting to summon Gimmi ended up accelerating the process, resulting in the affliction spreading to her face, though according to Shadybug the use of their Miraculous superpowers "will slowly destroy them".

After her counterpart was able to inspire her to get the life she wanted to have, Shadybug gave up on her evil purpose, using her Lucky Charm to repair everything and, in this way, get a new costume. After reforming, Claw Noir (now Paw Noir) joined Betterfly's team to defeat the Supreme and free their universe. It's known that the Supreme took advantage of Adrien's sadness over losing his mother to recruit him to his side by entrusting him the Cat Miraculous to get back the Butterfly Miraculous which was stolen by Betterfly (unknown to Adrien, that he was actually his father). Unlike Gabriel in his universe, Monarch is the villainous counterpart of Betterfly in the Quantic Universe, Like Claw Noir, he also wanted to bring Emilie back by using the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses to summon Gimmi. After Claw Noir reformed and decided to become a superhero, he agreed with Betterfly when he reassured Ladybug she will suceed in defeating Monarch. However, Adrien was soon surprised to see Shadybug detransfoming into Marinette, and blushed and smiled at her, revealing to have a crush on her, as in their world, he often had his car stopping in front of her bakery to see her.
After realizing the power that her Miraculous and Claw Noir's possess together, she betrayed him to get his Miraculous and try to summon Gimmi so they could allow her to switch lives with her counterpart, failing only because of the seal placed on Tikki and Plagg of her universe. In order to both retrieve the Butterfly Miraculous and have her wish granted, she allied herself with Monarch. Claw Noir and Cat Noir begin to fight as Claw Noir cataclysms Cat Noir's earpiece, cutting off his connection with Ladybug. Meanwhile, at Collège Françoise Dupont, Shadybug's and Ladybug's battle takes place there.
After Monarch fails to get the Miraculouses of the Ladybug and Black Cat from at least four different alternate universes, he is left defeated in his lair but not before he vows to destroy Ladybug and Cat Noir in every parallel universe. Meanwhile, Ladybug says that Monarch won't be traveling to any world anymore and Ladybug Cat Noir and Alya will find a way to defeat Monarch for good. Betterfly reassures her she'll succeed before thanking her for their help and Ladybug also thanks him for helping them to regain their hopes, and he, Ladybug and Paw Noir use Alya who is once more kamikotized into Ubiquity to go back to their universe to fight the Supreme. At the bakery, Alya deletes the video from Sabine's phone and Marinette and Alya head downstairs for some breakfast prepared by Sabine as they both yawn from last night's battle as the special ends. Meanwhile, Betterfly tries to tell the villains that it is possible for a better world. Shadybug and Claw Noir ignore his words as he is sent flying due to being hit by one of Shadybug's Lucky Charms.
When detransforming back into Marinette, she noticed alternate Adrien smiling and blushing at her and asked him if he knew her, to which he only awkwardly shrugged. But Marinette dismissed it to try to make a wish to a better life, only to fail, to Adrien's concern. And when looking at him, she softened her tone to main Sabine, before retransforming, releasing him and throwing his Miraculous back at him, and she rebuffed his attempt to comfort her after she realized no wish could save them from their affliction. After her counterpart convinced her to use her powers for good and become a hero, Shadybug used the Miraculous Shadybug to restore the damage from their battle, resulting in the removal of the affliction infecting her and Claw Noir. Since she now uses her powers for good, it's unknown if she still possesses the ability to summon multiple Lucky Charms. Back at the pool, Claw Noir pins Cat Noir and takes off his Miraculous, revealing Adrien is Cat Noir.
